Silja Pálmarsdóttir
Silja Pálmarsdóttir (f. 1985) kláraði mastersgráðu í listasögu við háskólann í Bologna. Hún hefur unnið við uppsetningu sýninga í Barcelona, í Arts Santa Mònica við Römbluna og í Macba, meðal annars á verkum Brian Eno, Takis og Posenensky. Einnig hefur hún unnið að fjöldan allan af sýningum þarlendra listamanna og skipulagningu listviðburða á borð við Arts libris, gjörninga í formi danssýninga og ljóðaupplesturs. Hún sýningastýrði og sá um textaskrif fyrir Mirall de papel sem fjallaði um sögu sýningarbæklinga eða bók um bækur sem kom fram fyrir almenning bæði í formi sýningar og útgáfu. Síðustu ár hefur hún unnið við skráningu innan listasafna og gerði rannsókn meðal safna í Barcelona hvernig stafrænir miðlar eru gerðir sýnilegir í miðlægum gagnagrunnum fyrir lokaverkefni í upplýsingafræði. Nýlega fékk hún styrk til að vinna í rannsókn og ljósmyndun bókaeignar í Listasafni Einars Jónssonar þar sem hún hefur sinnt störfum jafnt í safninu og á skrifstofu þess.
Silja Pálmarsdóttir (b. 1985) completed her master's degree in art history at the University of Bologna. She has worked on the installation of exhibitions in Barcelona, at Arts Santa Mònica on the Rambla and at Macba, including works by Brian Eno, Takis and Posenensky. She has also worked on numerous exhibitions by local artists and the organization of art events such as Arts libris, performances in the form of dance and poetry readings. She co-curated the exhibition and wrote the text for Mirall de papel, which dealt with the history of exhibition brochures, or a book about books that appeared to the public in both the form of an exhibition and a publication. In recent years, she has worked on cataloguing within art museums and conducted research among museums in Barcelona on how digital media are made visible in central databases, for her final project in information science. She recently received a grant to work on research and photography of the book collection at the Einar Jónsson Sculpture Museum, where she has worked both in the museum and in its office.
